I suppose dying's as good an excuse to start living.

So Charlotte "Chuck" Charles is recently back from the dead and making the most of her new life by seeking higher education. And possibly solving crime on the side. She has no special abilities; her return from the dead only makes her more empathetic to the deceased and those they left behind. She's cheerful, sometimes overly so. She tries to be helpful whenever she can. Currently, as well as attending college, she works as a waitress at the local pie shop, Chapple of Love.
